Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. (CGSTL) is China's first commercial remote sensing satellite company to integrate satellite R&D and manufacturing, operation and management, and remote sensing information services into a full industrial chain.

During a media tour to Chang Guang Satellite Technology on August 28, SFC reporter learned that the successful launch of the first four satellites of the self-developed "Jilin-1" constellation in October 2015, marked the beginning of China's commercial development of space technology.

There are 117 "Jilin-1" satellites in orbit, forming the world's largest sub-meter commercial remote sensing satellite network. It aims to have 138 satellites in orbit by 2030.
